Ends Desktop Clutter • Tabbed browsing lets you have multiple web pages open in one window. • Tabbed Browsing organizes and frees up desktop space by opening multiple web sites in a series of tabs that you can easily switch back and forth between. • Tabbed Browsing conserves system resources by only having one Netscape Browser window open.
Closing Tabs • On the bottom right corner of each tab is an orange pull down arrow. Click it and a pull down menu appears. • Choose from a number of options to close some or all of the tabs that are open.
Save Entire Groups • Have ALL of your favorite web sites automatically open every time you launch Netscape Browser 8.1 or hit the Home Button. • Saving entire groups of tabs is great for things like planning a vacation. Save your hotel, flight, tourist and Mapquest pages together for quick and easy access right when you need it. • Tab Groups neatly organizes any web pages you want to keep together within a single Netscape Browser window.
Real-Time Feeds
The Netscape Browser takes the mystery out of Real Simple Syndication (RSS) and allows you to read and manage RSS feeds without the need of a separate news reader application.
Automatic Discovery
When one or more feeds are available on any given page, an orange indicator will display on the far right of the URL bar. Click the indicator to view the feed(s).
Easy Viewing
Instead of trying to read complex and cluttered XML, we transform the feed into readable news articles. You'll have the option of adding the feed as a simple bookmark or as a scrolling news ticker to your toolbar.
Simple Management
Manage your bookmarked feeds just as you would any other bookmark, by using the "Organize bookmarks" feature. Feed bookmarks will tell you how many unread headlines there are.
